GIANLUIGI PEDUZZI
FRANCO D'EUSANIO

In 1989, Rustichella d'Abruzzo was founded, with Gianluigi Peduzzi as a partner together with his sister Stefania and President of the same company. Thus began his travels around the world, working diligently to consolidate a commercial network of professionals and gastronomes, starting from meetings with figures such as Giorgio Onesti and Gualtiero Marchesi. Promoter of the Consorzio Pera d’Abruzzo and member of the Board of Directors, since 1994 he has held the position of Board Member first in the BCC of Cerratina and Pianella, which later merged into the BCC of Castiglione M.R and Pianella. Also committed to social causes, he was President of the Rotary Club of Pescara Nord and is still a member of a district commission.

Franco D'Eusanio holds a degree in Agricultural Sciences and has been a consultant for many years to numerous wineries. Founder in 1994 of the organic farm Chiusa Grande, he is a staunch supporter of the “bio philosophy”—thus defined as a “vinosopher” and “bio-innovator”—with the aim of rediscovering tradition and ways to preserve the ecosystem in vine cultivation. The results achieved are the fruit of arduous and meticulous work, which begins in the vineyards with the control of fertilization, pruning, the use of natural pesticides, and other precautions; in this way, the grapes produced are healthy and rich in vitamins and proteins. There are numerous collaborations with Abruzzo universities and the CNR that have led to the development of new production techniques.

MICHELE DI TORO
ANGELO FABBRINI

Michele Di Toro, originally from Sant’Eusanio del Sangro, was born in 1974. Since childhood, he has shown a great aptitude for music in general and, in particular, for the piano. He graduated from the “L. d’Annunzio” Conservatory in Pescara and furthered his studies at the Ecole Normale de Musique “A. Cortot” in Paris, obtaining a performance diploma. Influenced by Afro-American musical languages, he attended the Civic Jazz Courses in Milan. He has participated in events such as “Iseo Jazz” in 2002, the “Concerti del Tempietto” (Teatro di Marcello, Rome), and is a regular guest at the “Settimana Mozartiana” held annually in Chieti; he has also been part of the Civica Jazz Band directed by Enrico Intra. His first album under his own name, titled “Playing With Music,” features guitarist Franco Cerri.

Angelo Fabbrini, born in Pesaro and adopted by Pescara, is a master tuner of clear international renown. The greatest pianists have turned to him, from Benedetti Michelangeli to Pollini, from Zimerman to Brendel, from Sokolov to Martha Argerich, who play only on Steinway grand pianos tuned by him and who often want him by their side on their tours in all countries of the world. Fabbrini relies on about twenty collaborators and has bought and then resold over 200 Steinway grand pianos, as well as owning about twenty which he rents out in all the major theaters to the most talented pianists. His story is not only that of an extraordinary craftsman of sound, but also that of a skilled entrepreneur and a truly exceptional witness. He is the author, with Pietro Marincola, of the book "The Tuner's Briefcase. The Search for the Lost Sound," Passigli Editore, 2020.

MARINA ASSOGNA

Laura De Lellis graduated in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology from the “G. d’Annunzio” University of Chieti and subsequently obtained a PhD in Oncology and Molecular Pathology. She is currently an Associate Professor of General Pathology and a member of the Department of Pharmacy at the “G. d’Annunzio” University of Chieti. She has extensive experience in cancer predisposition genetics, acquired during the early years of her training. In the following years, her research interests have focused on the biological evaluation of the antitumor potential of both metabolic drugs and non-antineoplastic drugs proposed for repurposing in oncology for the treatment of selected tumor types, including pancreatic cancer, which represents the core of her most recent research lines.

I was a teacher for 20 years in Varese, teaching Science in various schools in the province. In 2007 I decided to return to Abruzzo, where I was born in Atri (TE). In Abruzzo I taught in Penne, Città Sant'Angelo, and finally at Liceo D'Ascanio, where I had the pleasure of meeting Prof. Natalucci, whom I remember fondly. He was always kind, helpful to me and the students, and a well-prepared teacher. I volunteered at Banco Alimentare in Varese, while in Pescara I collaborated for years with Vides di Pescara, helping children with their homework until the pandemic period. I am currently retired both as a teacher and as a volunteer.
